Volunteers Making a Difference

Since the beginning of the preservation process (2014), it has solely been an effort by a small group of volunteers. Not always the same people, but there are a few stalwarts of the effort: Scott Andersen, John King, and Mike Anderson. Each work session almost always has these individuals working and normally a few other volunteers giving of their time and energy. So far there have been 95 work sessions and almost 1700 volunteer hours making a difference!

We are not a formal organization nor are we a non-profit entity; strictly volunteers who saw a need and decided to make a difference. Although we are not a project of the Greenfield Historical Society, they have been great supporters as has been the Village of Greenfield. If you would like to make a donation, you may make it payable to the Greenfield Historical Society, a 501 c 3 and include a notation that is it for the cemetery preservation.
